Titchwell RSPB Reserve is one of the most visited reserves in Norfolk covering an area of 515 acres made up of fresh and salt water lagoons with extensive reed beds.  There is a large car park with toilets, a visitor centre with RSPB staff on hand at all times to give you up to date information and advice.  Binoculars can also be hired at the visitors centre. On site there is a cafe selling hot and cold snacks and light refreshments. There are lots of benches to sit on to observe both the flora and the fauna. Two of the hides overlook the lagoons.  The many different pathways are suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Titchwell attracts both the professional birdwatcher as well as the amateur enthusiast.

The main path runs all the way to the beach, there is a tern hide close to the beach though this is only accessible at low tide. Titchwell is home to many species of waders such as avocets and other waterfowl including the Bittern. The passage birds are also marvellously varied. Titchwell hosts a number of organised events throughout the year. The reserve is always open. The visitors centre is open from 9.30 am-5 pm (9.30 am-4 pm from mid-November to mid-February).
