While there is free on street parking, it can get very congested at weekends and during the peak season. There is 186 (of which ten are disabled) parking spaces available at North Street Car Park. As of 1st January 2022 charges start from £1.30 for an hour and go up to £4.90 for 24 hours. Charges are applicable Monday to Sunday and include Bank Holidays (8:00am until 5:59pm). Outside of these times the car park is free.
In addition to the stunning beaches to visit that are on your doorstep, there is plenty of attractions for the whole family to enjoy. A short drive will bring you to Hunstanton and Old Hunstanton that between them have a links golf course, a pitch and putt, Sea Life Sanctuary and a number of arcades and ten pin bowling. Hunstanton is the only seaside resort o the East of England that faces West which offers the most spectacular sunsets.
In addition to Burnham Market these is also Burnham Overy and Burnham Thorpe, the latter known for being the birth place of Lord Nelson and is why Norfolk is referred to as Nelson’s county.
Burnham Market is known as 'Chelsea on Sea', due to its boutique style shopping, cosmopolitan vibe and the many famous faces it attracts throughout the year.
No but it is only a short drive to many beaches nearby including Holkham and Brancaster beach.
We would not advise walking to one of the costal beaches from Burnham Market, but it is only a short drive.
We would personally recommend Michelin star Socius and No. Twenty9 Bar & Restaurant.
When it comes to Burnham Market Hotels The Hoste and Vine House Hotels are widely recognised as two of the best hotels to stay not just in Burham market but on the north Norfolk coast. There is also the Neslon country inn.
