What is a Web Site? Within the context of Angliacoast.co.uk, a Web Site is a complete stand alone website designed specifically to meet the individual needs of a specific client, and is hosted on our servers for a year.

They are not fixed format, there are no limits to the number of pages and pictures, and the price is mostly dependant on the time we spend talking about and producing your website. The most expensive component is the time it takes to create just what you want, especially if you change your mind a lot. We will provide an estimate after an initial conversation, but generally the cost works out to be about £100.00 per page.

Generally custom websites cost between £150 and £800 dependant on the level of service you require, complex sites that require extensive programming, artwork or graphics may take many days to produce and for those we quote an hourly rate..

Some ( but not all ) of the websites we create are in the tourism sector, in which case we link the new websites into our main East Anglian tourism portals, so that they are noticed and crawled over by search engines within days not months.

Search engine rankings are a game of "cat and mouse" and the game changes regularly. We know how to play the game but cannot guarantee results. Anyone who claims to is being less than honest, that's why we don't. You can always test how good we are by searching for your own organisation in a search engine.

Sometimes we are on page one, other times we have good listings but not on page one. We believe that having a broad coverage is more important than being number one, but we still endeavour to be number one.

We have a Huge Library of East Anglian and General Images so we can keep the photography / image costs down, this is often the most expensive part of any new website. N.B These remain our copyright.

• Write and Advise on Copy ( the words used on your website )

• Produce original and composite images, and banners for and to promote your website.

• Advise on the best ways to promote your website, having a website is the first step, not the last!

This level of service is more expensive than our standard ( off the peg ) products because it takes a long time and many conversations to create a suitable website that meets the business need, but in addition to our technical services, you also get the benefit of our extensive sales, marketing and business expertise, which even if we do say so ourselves is considerable.

Like any other business relationship, it is a case of mutual understanding and trust - and that takes time - but if done properly it is very beneficial and often profitable for both parties. Our advice is honest, direct and straight forward (often to honest for some!), if we think you are wasting your time, or doing things the wrong way we will say so ( often at outsiders view is clearer and more objective) we wont just take your money and run, like some companies, we only want happy customers that will generate new happy customers because our business thrives by word of mouth.
