Rosemary Cottage was built in 1880 and is situated in the pretty village of West Raynham. Originally two smaller cottages Rosemary Cottage offers a high degree of comfort and privacy for its guests.

Guests have their own front door, private sitting / dining room and bathroom. Cooked breakfasts using local produce are a speciality.

West Raynham is quiet and picturesque and there are extensive walks right on your doorstep. These walks take you through mixed woodland, water meadows, arable fields and parkland. Fine views of Raynham Hall can be enjoyed as most of the nearby walks are within the Raynham Estate.

The market town of Fakenham is just five miles (9km) away, with its range of shops, golf course, national hunt racecourse, six-lane tenpin bowling centre, museum of Gas and Local History and a small cinema.

 Fakenham hosts a Farmers Market once a month and a modern day market every Thursday. Thursday also sees the weekly auction of Antique and Household Furniture, Art and Collectables, Specialist Sales, Farm and Machinery.

On the outskirts of Fakenham is the award winning Pensthorpe Nature Reserve and Gardens. In 2008 Pensthorpe hosted the highly popular BBC Springwatch.

Or spend the day at Dinosaur Adventure Park set in 100 acres of woods and parkland.

The impressive historic ruins of Castle Acre are 8 miles (14km) from West Raynham, with their wide-ranging views of the valley and the River Nar. The North Norfolk Coast is approximately 13 miles (21km) from the cottage.
