Views overlooking the Medieval village church and the Tudor Manor House

Highfield House is situated at the end of a quiet yard just off the main street of the village of Great Snoring. The property is a modern detached house, which adjoins the grounds of the 15th century Manor House.

Highfield House provides accommodation for up to five people, plus a baby or young child. There are three bedrooms: one with a double bed; one with two single beds; and one with a single bed and large cot.

There is a well equipped kitchen, bathroom, downstairs toilet and large living / dining room with open fireplace. The house is centrally heated throughout.

There is a secluded and secure garden at the back of the house, with a gravel yard at the front.

The living room has widescreen colour TV, DVD, video and stereo radio, and the main bedroom has colour TV. Pillows and duvets are provided for each bed, but sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases, towels and tea towels are not.

The house has a double garage.

The peaceful village of Great Snoring nestles in beautiful countryside, with pretty flint and brick cottages lining its narrow main street.

There are a superb range of shops and places to eat in the nearby Georgian town of Holt and a visit to the weekly Thursday market in Fakenham is a must as well as the Farmers Market held on the fourth Saturday of each month.

Interesting places nearby include the Thursford Collection with its extraordinary collection of steam-powered traction engines, fairground organs and carousels. A tranquil public footpath leads around the village, through the churchyard, across the orchard by way of two ancient stiles.

A lane, known as the Greenway, provides a peaceful two mile walk to the historic village of Little Walsingham. This medieval village has a long history of pilgrimage, that is eloquently recalled in ancient buildings and evocative ruins.

There are many other places of interest in this area and attractions catering for all ages.
