Lowestoft is the most easterly town in Britain and is very much a destination for those looking for sand a traditional English Seaside holiday. It is justifiably famous for its amazing award winning sandy beaches, which are cleaned daily.

Lowestoft's beaches are considered to be some of the very best in North Europe. The town is full of famous tourist attractions which will appeal to all the family . Parts of the beach are reserved for water sports, such as jet skiing and snorkelling.

The town was originally a small fishing village perched on the top of a cliff. It was Sir Samuel Morton Peto who developed parts of the town including its harbour which first opened in 1831 with its main industry being herring (known locally as the silver darling).

Just to the north of the town today, is the area known as Plesurewood Hills Leisure Park where for the cost of an entrance fee you have access to all the rides and family attractions in the park. Lowestoft benefits from a number of different leisure facilities both indoor and outdoor such as Mayhem Adventure Park an indoor play area located in the East Point Pavilion.
