In the hinterland of Norfolk is an unusual museum called the Thursford Collection started by George Cushing was born in the Thursford in 1904. After the Second World War when when all the farmers were scraping their old farm vehicles, George decided to start collecting them and nursing them back to health.
He then went on in the mid 1950’s to collect old fairground organs and merry go rounds, all of which goes to make up this popular visitor attraction that we see today.
