Located through a maze of country lanes is the history-steeped village of Binham dominated by the large atmospheric remains of a Benedictine Priory, which sits on the edge of the village surrounded by the ruins its monastery. and a village inn. For a larger range of shops visit the attractive Georgian town of Holt
which is five miles away or for seaside pursuits the harbour town of Wells-next-the-sea four miles away. Or stroll the streets of medieval Little Walsingham, a place of pilgrimage for close on a thousand years. You can the Wells and Walsingham Light Railway a narrow gauge steam train that runs between Little Walsingham and Wells next to Sea. Its terminus is on the Stiffkey Road just outside Wells. |
