Located through a maze of country lanes is the history-steeped village of Binham dominated by the large atmospheric remains of a Benedictine Priory, which sits on the edge of the village surrounded by the ruins its monastery. Classical concerts are held throughout the year at the Priory and the grounds of the monastery are believed to be haunted, look at our Myths and Legend pages to learn more.

This pretty village has a village stores, a garage, a Butchers & Graziers and a village inn. For a larger range of shops visit the attractive Georgian town of Holt which is five miles away or for seaside pursuits the harbour town of Wells-next-the-sea four miles away.

Or stroll the streets of medieval Little Walsingham, a place of pilgrimage for close on a thousand years. You can the Wells and Walsingham Light Railway a narrow gauge steam train that runs between Little Walsingham and Wells next to Sea.  Its terminus is on the Stiffkey Road just outside Wells.
