Weybourne

The beach which is known as Weybourne Hope has been a matter of some concern during times of war, the reason for this is that the beach here shelves so steeply that deep draught boats or submarines could come to within yards of the shore. An old saying goes - He who would old England win Must at Weybourne Hope begin.
