Snettisham is a West Norfolk coastal village close to the Royal Estate of Sandringham, surrounded by fenland and bird sanctuaries. In fact most of the town is quiet a long way from the beach area and the other side of the A149.

The beach is found down pleasant lane opposite Station road, at the end of the lane is Car park and an RSPB reserve which has many ponds and lakes that are popular for course fishing.

The beach side has a large community of holiday chalets and caravans supported by seasonal shops.

 In the winter months flocks of pink-footed geese fly over Snettisham Nature Reserve to roost on the Wash. 

It is said to be one of the most memorable natural sights in the England.
