Overstrand wide sandy beaches though please note there is a steep causeway down to the beach which may not suit all legs.  The village of Overstrand was once known as the Village of Millionaires in the late 19th century owing to the many famous people who brought property in the area.  Nowadays, the village of Overstrand is a quiet seaside village with a beautiful beach, a quiet holiday resort. There are two Hotels and a Public House, which offer warm hospitality and tasty bar meals. On the cliff sits a cafe which serves good food all day.
