Heacham, is a large Norfolk village, boasting two sandy beaches imaginatively called North and South Beach.

Heacham is famous for its association with the Indian Princess Pocahontas and is home to Norfolk Lavender. During the summer months the air is permeated with the scent from their many lavender fields.

There are lots of different water sports that can be enjoyed on the beach at Heacham and there are many places for refreshment just off the beach.

The  houses in Heacham have been built from red carrstone, which is a feature of this part of Norfolk.

A good location for a family beach holiday, the town has a good range of shops and there are restaurants and country pubs a plenty.
