Wide flat empty sandy beaches, popular with para surfers at Eccles on Sea.

This fascinating place situated almost exactly halfway between Cromer and Gt. Yarmouth long ago received the name of The Lost Village but not all of it has been lost.

Parts of the beach at Eccles on Sea is accessed via steps up over the high dunes.

Another route in is via Cart Gap where there is a car park and tracks and paths over the sand dunes down to the beach. A lovely place for walking on the beach with firm sands underfoot.
