Set up on a hill, overlooking the village of Gt. Walsingham, this
pretty little church is of 14th century origin. ![]() Inside its tower are three bells made in Kings Lynn between 1330 and 1350, still used today. There are some nice hideous gargoyles as well as a scratch dial located on the eastern most buttress of the church’s south aisle, at about chest height. The pew ends feature strange animals, apostles and angels. |
