The ruins of another church, St. Mary’s, stand in the same
churchyard as St. John The Baptist. With impressive parapets. There is a monument to Nathaniel Bacon the owner of Stiffkey Hall in black marble dated 1615 inside the church. |
From the churchyard one can see the remains of a ruined tower. This is part of the old Stiffkey Hall which stands in the grounds of the current Stiffkey Hall, which is a private residence. |
