on a hillside above the village with a sturdy round flint Norman
tower dating from 13th Century. The top used to be octagonal but was rebuilt in 1886. There are traces of a scratch dial in the porch and some nice flint knapping work. Inside this simple church is one of the finest seven sacrament fonts which is believed to be over 500 years old. |
