Lots to See - Lots to Do

The Hide is ideally situated for the bird reserves at Holme, (which are directly behind the property across the fields). Other Norfolk Nature Reserves include the RSPB at Titchwell (under 3 miles) RSPB at Snettisham and NWT at Cley-next-the-sea.

Holme has some of the most beautiful beaches on the North Norfolk coast.

Country houses such as Sandringham, Holkham Hall, Houghton Hall are all within easy reach.

For lovers of architecture there are the delightful towns of Burnham Market and Holt all within easy driving distance.

For steam enthusiast's there is the North Norfolk Railway (Sheringham to Holt) and the narrow gauge Wells to Walsingham light railway.

Walkers will enjoy the many walks in the area with the long distance paths of the Roman Peddars Way and the North Norfolk Coastal path nearby.

The village of Holme-next-the-Sea has a welcoming pub, The White Horse, which serves excellent meals. There are village shops in the neighbouring villages of Old Hunstanton and Thornham, which stock all essentials and Hunstanton has a large Tesco.
