In an ideal location just off Stocks Green, nestling beside the Twelfth Century Bailey Gate lies  Peddars Cottage.  Within an easy stroll of the village shops and village inns and a stones throw from the Nar Valley Walk. Inside the cottage is well laid out furnished by the owners in a traditional style blended with modern conveniences. The cottage sleeps six people comfortably. 

Downstairs is a cosy sitting room with soft furnishing and local prints adding to the ambience.  There is a colour TV, video and a good supply of books including some containing local information.  An open fire for those cooler months completes the cottage feel. 

The kitchen / diner is furnished throughout in honey coloured pine. There is an automatic washing machine, electric cooker, fridge, microwave and other equipment. A pine table, chairs and benches comfortably seats six.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms sleeping six people in total, plus a cot. There is a double bedded room with a wash basin, a twin bedded room and another room with full sized bunk beds. 

The recently refurbished bathroom / wc has a shower, heater and shaver point with an immersion heater for the water. 

All linen and towels are provided. The cottage is personally managed by a local caretaker who prepares the cottage for each occupation assuring guests of home from home comforts and a high level of housekeeping.

All main rooms have electric heaters and electricity is is included in the price.

Outside there is a garage for one car and a sunny patio at the back of the house.
